Cotton boll development of wheat-summer cotton double cropping was affected by twofactors which were planting ways and climatic condition that temperature factor was the leadingrole．Whan T(daily mean temperature in boll period)〈20℃，the boll development of interplanting summer cotton and field planting summer cotton after harvesting wheat was inferior to T single culturing summer cotton with normal seeding period which T〉20℃．Difference of boll development Of interplanting and filed-planting summer cotton with the same seeding period and T<18℃ was insignificant．Boll development of interplanting and field planting summercotton and single culturing summer cotton with normal seeding period which T>20℃ wasaffected significantly by planting ways，under the condition of the same seeding period，difference of cotton boll development depended on planting ways and boll developing targets．According to the research，in this cotton production strict，it was appropriate for interplntingsummer otton seed-sowinging before May 30，and it was unsuitable to adopt field-plantingmethod after harvesting wheat，and it wonld be optimum for seedling around May 15 and transplanting during June 10～15．%麦(夏)棉两熟棉铃发育受以温度为主的气候条件和种植方式两个因素影响，铃期平均日均温低于20℃的麦套、麦后直播夏棉棉铃发育明显劣于正常播种的单作夏棉(铃期平均日均温大于20℃)，相同播期、铃期平均日均温均在18℃左右的套夏棉和麦后直播夏棉的棉铃发育差异较小。铃期平均日均温在20℃以上的套夏棉、麦后移栽夏棉和正常播种的单作夏棉，其棉铃发育受种植方式作用较大，相同播期条件下的棉铃发育差异因种植方式、棉铃发育指标而异。根据研究结果认为本棉区2∶1麦套夏棉适宜播期应在5月底以前，麦后直播夏棉是不可行的，麦后移栽夏棉在生产上以5月15日左右育苗、6月10～15日移栽为最佳。
