A novel wavelength converter is proposed by use of D-fiber after periodically thermal/electric-field poling in the paper for the first time.The expressions for conversion efficiency η and bandwidth Δλ are derived,which are consistent with numerical calculation.The results show that η is proportional to the logarithm of second-order nonlinear coefficient and pump light power,and,however,they have only a little effect to Δλ.By properly increasing the length of D-fiber η can be efficiently enhanced,but Δλ will be decreased.Under the ordinary condition,η>-15dB and Δλ>100nm can be achieved.The wavelength conversion for 8-channel signal is simulated.%本文首次提出了利用周期性热及电场诱导的D型光纤的波长转换器.推导了转换效率η和转换带宽Δλ的表达式,该式与数值计算一致.结果表明,η与二次非线性系数和泵浦光功率成对数关系,但它们对Δλ的影响不大.适当增加D型光纤的长度能有效提高η,但却降低了Δλ.一般情况下,η>-15dB,Δλ>100nm.模拟了WDM网中8个信道信号光的波长转换.
