Objective To investigate the physicochemical property of Pae-6’O-benzene sulfonate ( CP-25 ) . Meth-ods The CP-25 physicochemical property was evaluated by appearance, Lieberman-Burchard reaction, thin-layer chromatogram, Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry ( UV) , solubility and stability. The content of CP-25 was assayed by high performance liquid chromatography. Results The CP-25 had color response featured by terpenoid, and its maximum UV absorption wavelength was 220 nm. CP-25 was slightly soluble in water and petroleum ether. The main influence factor of CP-25 stability was humidity. Conclusion The present study provides experimental basis for quality standard and formulation design of CP-25 .%目的考察芍药苷-6-O'-苯磺酸酯(代号CP-25)的理化性质。方法CP-25理化性质以外观性状、Lieberman-Bur-chard反应、薄层色谱图、紫外吸收光谱、溶解度和稳定性进行评价；CP-25含量采用高效液相色谱法进行测定。结果 CP-25具有萜类化合物特征颜色反应；其最大紫外吸收波长为220 nm；CP-25在水和石油醚中均微溶；影响其稳定性的主要因素是湿度。结论当前考察的CP-25理化性质为其质量标准制定和制剂设计提供一定实验依据。
