Traditional dwelings is often designed with special regional characters through long-term evolution in order to adapt to local climate. As a practical passive technology, Natural ventilation has been widely used in the traditional dwelings. This paper analyze the application of natural ventilation in the traditional dwelings from layout and building, also summarized the design measures to improve the natural ventilation.%传统民居在其长期的发展演变中逐渐形成了适应本地气候的地域特征，自然通风作为一种实用的被动式生态技术，一直被广泛的应用在传统民居中；本文从传统民居的选址布局、单体建造等方面分析了自然通风技术在传统民居中的应用，并总结了传统民居中常用的促进自然通风的设计措施。
