Ordos Dongsheng Sports Center adopts steel tube arch bridge design concept to transfer most gravity load of the roof to the steel arch through steel cable. Overall span of the steel arch above the ground level is 320 m, arch height is 129 m and total weight is 2 606 t. Appropriate equipments are used during construction, steel arch lifting and aerial rotation, steel arch aerial assembly and butting accuracy protection techniques are adopted to control the temperature load and unloading stability.
