一种DICOM文件并行传送算法的设计与实现

         

摘要

The DICOM files transfer played a vital role in PACS. Firstly we analyzed the transfer characters of DICOM files and found out the reasons of time-consuming. Then we tried to improve the transfer speed of mass amount of DICOM files from two aspects. The first aspect, one way was to decrease the connection times between the network and association. The other one was to speed up the files transfer through parallel mode. Next we designed a novel parallel transfer algorithm for DICOM files based on the task partition strategy, which took a mechanism of transfer mass files through one connection and a scheme of centralized dynamic load balancing. At last, the algorithm was implemented in the Microsoft . net framework 4. The test showed that the parallel transfer algorithm could do better in parallel capability and also improved the DICOM file transfer efficiency dramatically.%DICOM文件传送是PACS中非常重要的一类文件操作.本文通过分析DICOM文件传送的基本原理,发现DICOM文件串行传送中有大量时间消耗在网络连接和DICOM连接上.为了尽快完成海量影像文件的DICOM传送任务,本文从两方面改进文件传送算法:一是减少网络和DICOM连接次数,每次连接尽量传送更多的文件;二是通过文件并行传送来成倍增加单位时间内文件传送数量.然后针对PACS中待传送DICOM文件特点,设计一种基于任务划分策略的DICOM文件并行传送算法.该算法采用"一次DICOM连接传送一类文件"的传送机制和"Master-Slave"结构的集中式动态负载平衡方案.该算法在.NET framework 4框架下实现,测试表明上述算法具有良好的并行性能,且显著提高了DICOM文件传送效率.
