China’s nuclear industry gains momentum,aiming to be the world’s major exporter On December 16,2015,the State Council authorized the construction of two nuclear power projects—a pilot project of China’s third-generation nuclear power technology at the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the expansion of the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in Lianyungang,east China’s Jiangsu Province.
