At the present stage,with the rapid development of industrialization in China,ecological and environmental problems are becoming increasingly prominent.In addition,together with the scientific concept of development and the demand of sustainable development,how to do a good job of energy saving and emission reduction and ecological Environmental protection has become a new era of an urgent issue.However,based on the current increasingly serious emissions and energy consumption problems,for the automotive industry,in order to better adapt to the new era of sustainable development needs of the need to further strengthen its own reform.This paper discusses the application strategy of new chemical materials in the light-weight reform of the automobile industry, hoping that the research can help the related work in the later period.%现阶段，随着我国工业化发展进程的不断加快，生态环境问题也日益突出。另外，再加之我国科学发展观的提出以及可持续发展的需求，所以如何努力的做好节能减排与生态环境的保护也就成为了新时期一项迫切的课题。然而，基于当前日益严峻的废气排放与能耗问题，对于汽车工业而言，为更好地适应新时期可持续发展的需求也就需要进一步加强自身的改革。针对当前汽车工业轻量化改革中的新型化工材料的应用策略进行了探讨，希望通过研究能够对后期的相关工作有所借鉴与帮助。
