The exploitation of Xujiahe formation gas reservoir in Western Sichuan has generated a large number of water as by‐products ,which is mainly derived from the stratum .It is difficult to impose hazard‐free treatment on the stratum water .According to its high salinity ,methods including chemicals and recipe optimization ,comprehensive performance assessment ,etc .,were adopted to explore the feasibility of using the Xujiahe formation water in working fluid preparation .The results demonstrated that it is difficult to prepare guar gum fracturing fluid and drilling fluid with Xujiahe stratum water .However ,drag‐reducing water could be developed by selecting appropriate salinity‐tolerant resistance reducer .This new drag‐reducing water has been successfully applied in the field practice of Western Sichuan ,and showed that the drag reduction rate could reach 65% -71% .%川西气田须家河组气藏在开采过程中产生了大量的气田废水,而地层水是气田废水的主要来源之一,无害化处理难度较大。为了能够更好地处理须家河地层水,针对其高矿化度的水质特点,通过优选处理剂、优化配方、综合性能评价等方法,对须家河地层水配制不同工作液的可行性进行了分析。结果表明,使用须家河地层水配制胍胶压裂液、钻井液难度较大,但可以通过优选抗盐性能较好的降阻剂来实现对减阻水的配制。新型减阻水在川西地区的现场施工过程中取得了良好的效果,降阻率可达到65%~71%。
