We studied the conservation trend of historical and cultural areas in East Asia by conservation and utilization cases of historical and cultural areas in Japan and Korea in recent years. As different cities have diferent historical and cultural backgrounds, their conservation and utilization to buildings and areas with historical value are different. The main object of this article is to seek sustainable conservation and utilization methods that can meet the requirements of different countries’ development through the conservation and utilization experience of historical and cultural areas in recent years.%通过近年来日本和韩国对历史文化地区的保存及利用的事例，研究东亚对于历史文化地区的保存趋势。因为每个城市有着不同的历史背景，所以对具有历史价值的建筑物及地区的保存及利用也有所不同。本文的主要目的在于通过近年来对于历史文化地区的保存及利用经验寻求适合各国发展需求的历史文化地区的持续保存及利用方法。
