Today it has become a grotty place with polluted trade environment, chaotic traffic and damaged historic and cultural landscape. The image space for international tourism of this place is lost and its spirit of urban place is dead. It is imperative to bring the current Thirteen-hong Road back to the historic scene of Thirteen-hong Street. The specific measures are as follows: preserve the characteristic scene of historic block, ban wholesale market which goes against traditional historical context, establish professional walking street of memorial tourist commodities, build cultural international tourism zone of commercial port at thirteen-hong in Guangzhou, and cultivate Guangzhou to be a famous cultural city in the world.
