从空间差异性的角度研究世界遗产城市地区地理区划：土地覆盖，在对国际上土地覆盖相关研究综述的基础之上，概要介绍了世界遗产城市、城市地区等相关概念以及本次研究的数据来源。研究首先从两个方面：土地覆盖结构与土地覆盖特征出发对世界遗产城市地区作介绍；并根据联合国环境规划署（UNEP）和世界粮农组织（FAO）的土地覆盖分类系统（LCCS），将世界遗产城市地区归纳为四大类：陆地植被覆盖（vT）类型、水域植被覆盖（vA）类型、陆地非植被覆盖（NVT）类型以及水域非植被覆盖（NVA）类型；最后选取各类中典型的世界遗产城市地区作概要介绍。%This paper studies land cover, one of the geographical regionalization factors of the world heritage city regions, from the perspective of space variation. The related work on the research of land cover is summarized at first. Then, some important concepts such as the world heritage city regions, city region are defined and the data sources for this research are introduced briefly. Next, we give a brief introduction of the world heritage city regions regarding their land cover structure and land cover characteristics, and divide them into four types in accord with the land cover classification system （ LCCS ） by the UNEP and the FAO, that is, primarily vegetated terrestrial ares, primarily vegetated aquatic or regularly flooded ares, primarily non-vegetated terrestrial ares, primarily non-vegetated aquatic or regularly flooded ares. Typical cases belonging to each type are studied. Finally, conclusions are made and the future work is discussed.
