Since the year of 1950, the dialectical re lationship between the economic development level and distribution development in developing countries has become a research topic concentrated by worldwide scholars. Especially starting from the year of 1990s, with the active collision of local distribution enterprises and large-scale foreign invested distribution enterprises on the market in developing countries represented by China, this topic aroused the attention of scholars once again. Taking the existed research findings as the theoretical basis, the author gets started with the growth history of large-scale distribution enterprises, explores the dialectical and mutual influential relationship between economic development and distribution development, and makes a conclusion on the theoretical framework that is used for empirical analysis.%1950年以来，发展中国家经济发展与流通发展水平之间的辩证关系受到了各国学者的关注。特别是进入20世纪90年代以来，以中国为代表的发展中国家，随着本土流通企业与外资大型流通企业在市场上的活跃碰撞，经济发展与流通发展关系问题再次引起了学者的关注。文章基于已有研究成果，以大型流通企业成长历程为切入点，探讨经济发展与流通发展之间相互影响与作用的辩证关系，提出了变量组合分析框架，对研究发展中国家经济发展与流通发展之间相互影响的辩证关系具有一定参考价值。
