Objective Study on the effect of ventriculoperitoneal shunt in traumatic hydrocephalus. Methods 40 cases of traumatic cerebral hydrocephalus are used ventriculo peritoneal shunt for treatment, to observe the surgical effect of the patients, and to evaluate patients in the ifrst half of the year after the prognosis. Results After the operation, clinical symptoms and imaging findings of patients had improved neurologic recovery in good condition, of which 37 patients improved, the total effective rate was 92.50%,6 months follow-up, 29 patients with good prognosis cases, 9 cases of moderate disability, severe disability in 2 cases, no deaths in patients. Conclusion For hydrocephalus patients with traumatic brain take ventricle-peritoneal shunt has a signiifcant effect.%目的：研究脑室-腹腔分流术在外伤性脑积水中的效果。方法我院40例外伤性脑积水患者均采用脑室-腹腔分流术进行治疗，观察患者的手术效果，并在半年后评价患者的预后。结果在手术后，患者的临床症状和影像学表现均有改善，神经系统功能恢复情况良好，其中有37例患者得到改善，总有效率为92.50%；在半年随访中，患者预后良好的有29例，中度残疾9例，重度残疾2例，无死亡患者。结论对外伤性脑积水患者采取脑室-腹腔分流术有着明显的效果。
