Objective To explore the prevention and nursing measures for common postoperative complications in severe neurosurgical patients with PICC catheterization. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted for the 70 cases of severe neurosurgical patients with PICC catheterization treated in our hospital from June 2012 to March 2016. The 70 patients were divided into two groups in the nursing process, with 35 patients in the control group given routine care and 35 patients in the observation group given preventive care measures on the basis of routine care. The incidence rates of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.9%, signiifcantly lower than the 20% of the control group, with P<0.05 (χ2=5.080 6, P=0.024 2). Conclusion Preventive care measures for severe neurosurgical patients with common complications after PICC catheterization can effectively reduce the incidence of complications and promote early recovery of patients.%目的：探讨神经外科重症患者PICC置管术后常见并发症的预防及护理措施。方法对2012年6月～2016年3月70例神经外科留置PICC的重症患者进行回顾性总结，在护理过程中分为两组，对照组的35例患者实施常规护理，观察组的35例患者在对照组的基础上实施预防性护理措施，比较两组患者并发症的发生率。结果观察组的并发症发生率为2.9%，低于对照组的20%，P＜0.05（χ2=5.0806， P=0.0242）。结论对神经外科重症患者PICC置管术后常见的并发症采取预防性的护理措施，可有效减少并发症的发生率，促进患者早日康复。
