ObjectiveTo The curative effects were compared between the self-made Yixiaotong decoction and the traditional treatment method. MethodsThe patients were divided into treatment group with 61 cases and control group with 63 cases, the treatment group adopted Yixiaotong decoction, the control group adopted diagnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of the illness and the patient's condition. The courses of treatment were all 4 weeks, the curative effects were observed.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.1%, the control group was 96.8%, there was no signiifcant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of the self-made Yixiaotong decoction is not superior to the control group, Yixiaotong decoction can reduce differentiation of symptoms and signs for classiifcation of syndrome and classiifcation of medication..%目的：比较自拟易消痛汤与传统治疗方法对头痛的疗效。方法治疗组61例，随机设对照组63例，治疗组应用自拟易消痛汤治疗，对照组辨证施治，两组疗程均为4周，观察两组治疗效果。结果治疗组总有效率95.1%，对照组总有效率96.8%，两组总疗效无显著性差异（P＞0.05）。结论发现自拟易消痛汤治疗头痛的疗效不优于对照组，证实自拟易消痛汤治疗头痛在不降低有效率的情况下，减少了辨证分型和分型用药的环节。
