Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention for the treatment of elderly patients with periodontitis. Methods 52 cases of elderly patients with periodontitis were divided into intervention group (30 cases) and control group (22 cases) ,control group were given routine nursing care, intervention group were given the comprehensive nursing intervention, compared two groups of clinical curative effect. Results After nursing intervention group patients periodontal indexes were superior to control group, total effective rate (100.0%) were higher than the control group (90.9%), P<0.05. Conclusion To strengthen nursing intervention in elderly patients with periodontitis, can help to improve the effect of clinical treatment, promote their disease recover at an early date.%目的：探究护理干预对老年牙周炎患者治疗效果的影响。方法将52例老年牙周炎患者分为干预组（30例）和对照组（22例），对照组给予常规护理，干预组给予综合护理干预，比较两组临床疗效。结果干预组护理后患者牙周各指标均优于对照组，治疗总有效率（100.0%）高于对照组（90.9%），比较差异显著（P ＜0.05）。结论对老年牙周炎患者加强护理干预，有助于提高临床治疗效果，促进其疾病早日康复。
