SYV75-5 and SYWV75-5 are two kind of coaxial cable of video signal transmission .In theory , SYV75-5 is intended for video signal transmission of monitoring system , SYWV75-5 is used for television sig-nal transmission of CCTV .However , SYWV75-5 cable is used for video signal transmission in actual engineer-ing.The price of SYV75-5 than SYWV75-5 almost twice as expensive , the price gap directly affects project cost.Therefore, it is worth studying whether the two cables can be replaced in practical engineering .In this pa-per, through theoretical analysis and practical test , the transmission performance of SYV 75-5 and SYWV75-5 coaxial cable in video transmission lines is discussed , and the selection of two kinds of cable is obtained .%SYV75-5和SYWV75-5是两种传输视频信号的同轴电缆，从理论上讲SYV75-5是用于监控系统的视频信号传输，SYWV75-5是用于有线电视的视频信号传输，然而在实际工程中有的工程商却用 SY-WV75-5的线缆做视频传输。两种线缆的价格之差影响到工程造价，因此两种线缆在实际工程中能否替换的问题是值得探究的。通过理论分析与实际测试，论证SYV75-5和SYWV75-5两种同轴电缆在视频传输线路中的性能优劣，由此得出两种线缆正确的选用方法。
