Objective: Provide a general Framework for constructing TCM ontology. Methods: Introduce Basic Formal Ontology(BFO ) including basic concept, the framework structure, and the connotation of the conceptual and conceptual concepts. Results: The BFO can support better constructing ontology in TCM.
