Based on the investigation of sludge treatment status in our country, the paper analyzes the harm caused by the sludge that is not wel treated. The paper presents the development status of sludge dewatered equipment in the world and the development status of sludge dewatered treatment industry in China; presents the principle of indirect heat and dewatered technology with screw type;puts forward the dewatered efifciency that is easy for adjustment and high dewatered efifciency, non polution on environment and puts forward the designing thought for maintaining sludge indirect heat and dewatered equip-ment with screw type.%基于对国内污泥处理现状的调研，分析了因污泥未得到有效处理而引起的危害，以及国际污泥干化设备发展现状与我国国内污泥干化处理行业的发展现状；介绍了螺旋式间接热干化技术的原理；提出了干化效率便于调节、干化效率高、对环境无污染、便于维护的螺旋式污泥间接热干化设备的设计思路。
