Objective:To assess the therapeutic efficacy and safety of calf spleen extraction injection com-bined with valaciclovir in the treatment of herpes zoster. Methods: Ninety-five patients with herpes zoster were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in the treatment group ( 48 patients) were treatment with calf spleen extraction injection and oral valaciclovir. The patients in the control group ( 47 patients) were treat-ment with oral valaciclovir only. The therapeutic efficacy was assessed after 10 days. Results: The effective rate in the treatment group and control group were 85. 42% and 68. 09% respectively. The improvement of symptoms including the time of blister-stopping,skin-crust,pain-relief and total treatment duration was bet-ter in the treatment group than that in the control group. Conclusion: Calf spleen extraction injection com-bined with valaciclovir is more effective than valaciclovir in the treatment of herpes zoster.%目的：评价伐昔洛韦联合小牛脾提取物治疗带状疱疹的疗效和安全性。方法：将95例带状疱疹患者随机分为2组，治疗组(48例)给予伐昔洛韦片和小牛脾提取物注射液；对照组(47例)仅给予伐昔洛韦片，10天后观察疗效。结果：治疗组总有效率为85.42％，对照组总有效率68.09％，治疗组的止疱、结痂、止痛时间和总病程明显缩短。结论：伐昔洛韦联合小牛脾提取物治疗带状疱疹疗效优于单用伐昔洛韦。
