以ESP理论为指导提升医学生医患沟通英语表达能力

         

摘要

Under the trend of global economic integration and the internationalization of medical education,talents specializing in foreign affairs are in greater demand by the society and teaching of doctor-patient communication in English has become the focus of medical English teach-ing.The study of doctor-patient communication is a discipline that involves mutual understand-ing,trust and cooperation between medical workers and patients and jointly overcoming diseases. ESP teaching concept emphasizes ability orientation and close connection with the profession, advocates putting students in the center and using English learning as a means and a tool.Under the guidance of ESP teaching theory,we should improve medical students'doctor-patient com-munication in English so as to bring mutual benefits and win-win to doctors and patients,which not only embodies the people-oriented health policy but also promotes harmonious doctor-patient relationship,contributing to building a harmonious society.%在全球经济一体化、医学教育国际化这样一个发展背景下,社会对涉外人才的需求越来越大,医患沟通英语教学也已成为医学英语专业的重点教学内容.医患沟通学是研究医务工作者与患者之间如何互相理解、信任并合作而共同克服疾病的一门学科,而ESP教学理念强调以能力为导向,与职业紧密结合,倡导以学生为中心,把英语教学作为手段与工具来学习运用.以ESP教学理念为指导,提升医学生医患沟通英语表达能力可使得医患双方互惠双赢,既体现了"以人为本"的医疗方针,同时也促进了医患关系的和谐,从而为共建和谐社会贡献出医患双方的努力.
