Objective To study the correlation between breast cancer and type-2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 185 breast cancer patients with postoperative chemotherapy were analyzed retrospectively, the prevalence of DM was calculated, investigated the relationship between metastasis to lymph node or other organs and breast cancer patients including those with DM and those without DM. Results The crude prevalence of type-2 diabetes mellitus in breast cancer patients was 11.89%, the standardized prevalence of type-2 diabetes mellitus in breast cancer patients was 10.76%, greater than that of national diabetes screening. The rate of metastasis to lymph node or other organs increased in breast cancer patients with DM (68.2%) than that in breast cancer patients without DM (41.1%). Conclusion Breast cancer is significantly correlated with type-2 diabetes mellitus.%目的：探讨内蒙古地区女性乳腺癌与2型糖尿病的相关性。方法回顾性分析我科收治185例术后化疗的乳腺癌患者，计算2型糖尿病患病率，分析内蒙古地区女性乳腺癌患者合并糖尿病组和非糖尿病组与淋巴结或远处转移的关系。结果内蒙古地区女性乳腺癌患者中2型糖尿病粗患病率为11.89%。标准化患病率为10.76%，高于2008年全国糖尿病标准化患病率9.7%。患糖尿病的乳腺癌患者淋巴结或远处转移率为68.2%高于非糖尿病患者41.1%。结论内蒙古地区女性乳腺癌与2型糖尿病有明显相关性。
