Hunan, as the important rising economic province in the central of China. To keep the economy growing steadily, must have enough energy as a guarantee. Hunan is short of coal in south China, with typical characteristics of "lack of coal, gas and oil". According to the actual situation in the province, researching rational in development and utilization of coal resources, and searching for new type of alternative energy, which can provide reliable energy security for economic development, has important strategic significance. Based on the analysis of the main problems existing in the development and utilization of coal resources in Hunan province, the authors put forward to the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.%湖南作为中部经济崛起的重要省份,要保持经济稳步增长,必需有充足能源作为保障.湖南是我国南方缺煤省份,具典型的“缺煤少气无油”特点.因此,根据本省实际情况,研究合理开发利用煤炭资源,寻找新型替代能源,为经济发展提供可靠的能源保障具有十分重要的战略意义.本文在分析湖南省煤炭资源开发利用方面存在的主要问题的基础上,提出了相应的对策和建议.
