Mineral resources characteristics and keeping increasing to great mineral resources demand of economic and social development in China. All of these depend on the necessity mineral protection and proper use. Although at present protection and use is still restricted by lots of difficulties,if our country adhere to strategy of mineral resources saving priority, strengthening awareness of mineral resources comprehensive utilization; continuous improvement of mineral laws system and standard system construction; perfecting mineral resources planning system and bring technological progress into full play, improving supervisory managerial mechanism and industry economic policies, eventually promoting protection and proper use of mineral resources.%我国矿产资源的特点和经济社会发展对矿产资源需求的不断增长,决定了我国矿产资源保护与合理利用的必要性.虽然现实中还存在很多制约矿产资源保护与合理利用的困难,但是只要坚持矿产资源节约优先战略,强化矿产资源综合利用意识；不断完善矿产资源法规体系和标准化体系建设；健全矿产资源规划体系,充分发挥科技进步的强大推动力,健全矿产资源监督管理机制,完善产业经济政策,就能给力矿产资源的保护与合理利用.
