Firstly we introduce status of wireless network recently in some aspects of application, analyze the necessity and safety of implementing wireless network authentication based on Freeradius. Then we describe designing idea and realization points. Finally, as to wireless network authentication system, we show using effects and some problems need to be solved in the future work.% 介绍了目前无线网络的应用现状，分析了基于Freeradius开放源码软件实现无线网络认证的必要性和安全性。详细阐述了西安交通大学无线网络认证系统的设计思路和实现要点，并给出了目前无线网络认证系统的使用效果和存在问题。
