Objective :To discuss the effect and biological mechanism of Wuqinxi’ s intervention on middle‐aged men’s metabolic syndrome .Methods :30 middle‐aged male patients with meta‐bolic syndrome were randomly divided into control group and Wuqinxi group .Control group’s subjects kept the original way of life unchanged .Wuqinxi group’s subjects practiced Wuqinxi which was moderate and high posture for 1 hour per day ,5 days per week ,which lasted for 6 months .The indices of physical fitness ,blood lipid ,blood glucose ,adipocytokines and free radi‐cal were tested respectively before practicing Wuqinxi and after practicing Wuqinxi for 2 months ,4 months and 6 months .Results :The indices of physical fitness ,blood lipid ,blood glucose ,adipocytokines and free radical were significantly improved after practicing Wuqinxi for 6 months ,which had a significant main time effect .Conclusions :Wuqinxi which was moderate and high posture was moderate intensity exercise and could effectively improve the middle‐aged men’s metabolic syndrome ,which had a significant main time effect ,namely ,there was a sig‐nificant dose‐response relationship between the time of practicing Wuqinxi and the improvement of metabolic syndrome’s dangerous components .The metabolic syndrome’s insulin resistance of the middle‐aged men could be alleviated by reducing inflammatory reaction and oxidative stress and lowering blood free fatty acid after practicing Wuqinxi .%目的：探讨五禽戏干预中年男性MS的效果及生物学机制。方法：选取30名中年男性MS患者随机分为对照组和五禽戏组，对照组保持原有生活规律不变，五禽戏组进行中高架势五禽戏干预，40～50 min／天，1次／天，5天／周，共6个月，分别在实验开始前一天、2个月、4个月和6个月五禽戏练习结束测试两组受试者的体质、血脂、血糖、自由基和脂肪细胞因子指标。结果：6个月五禽戏练习结束，五禽戏组受试者体质、血脂、血糖、脂肪细胞因子和自由基指标显著改善，且呈明显时间主效应。结论：中高架五禽戏练习属中等强度运动，可有效改善中年男性MS ，且具有明显时间主效应，即练习周期长短与 MS各危险组分改善呈明显剂量反应关系；五禽戏可通过降低炎症反应、减轻氧化应激、降低血液 FFA等机制改善中年男性M S胰岛素受体和受体后水平的生物学作用，降低其IR。
