@@ The overall requirements of national standardization work in 2010 are as follows: comprehensively implement the spirits of the Party's 17th National Congress, the Third and Fourth Plenary Sessions of the 17th CPC (Communist Party of China) Central Committee, and the Central Economic Work Conference; thoroughly implement the plans for scientific development under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory and "Three Represents"; fulfill the requirements of the National Conference on Quality Inspection Work; focus on promoting the transformation of the mode of economic growth and economic restructuring; hold the work principle of "mind emancipation, idea change, reform and innovation,and scientific development"; establish the concepts of service, science, and law more firmly;, make great efforts in "adjusting the structure and improving the standard system, maintaining quality and focusing on level improvement, speeding up and meeting development needs, increasing benefit and emphasizing work efficiency, and intensifying management and establishing the legal mechanism";comprehensively implement the national standardization strategy; to carry out the "year of management intensification"; increase the scientific nature and the effectiveness of standardization work; and better serve sound and fast economic and social development.
