According to Zhang Xianbin, the person in charge of Department of Trade of NDRC, the price difference between China and the overseas only exerts limited influences on the textile industry. There is no necessary for the nation to throw in the cotton reserve along with a lot of new cotton put on the market this year; moreover, there will be no quota for imported cotton later this year, which depends on the supply and demand of next year. The steady performance of prices is still the major trend of the future cotton market.
