cqvip:The past three decades of China’s reforms have witnessed the concep- tion,birth and growth of private enterprises,which now play an important role in optimizing the country’s economic structure and mode of economic growth, expanding state revenue and providing employment opportunities. By the end of 2007,China had nearly 6 million private businesses,with a total registered capital of RMB 9 trillion and 71 million employees.In the same year,the private sector provided 50 percent of China’s GDP,a proportion that is expected to increase to 75 percent by 2010.Thirty to forty percent of China’s tax revenue also came from non-state-owned operations in 2007.
