This paper analyzed the material loss during the medium density fiberboard(MDF)production process with Longcaoping Forestry Bureau Medium Density Fiberboard Factory in Shaanxi Province, and introduced the measures on utilizing edge trim wastes and sanding dusts in production to control raw material costs.%以陕西省龙草坪林业局中密度纤维板厂为研究对象，对其生产中各工序原料损耗进行分析，介绍其在利用裁边下脚料和砂光粉方面采取的一些措施，为相关企业提供参考。
