Chinese ancient Silk Road can be divided into Silk Road on the land and on the sea, the latter of which was developed with the development of international shipping industry. Guangzhou, the birthplace of Marine Silk Road, had the port town of foreign trade in the beginning of West Han Dynasty, which continued to exist in Jin, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties.
