The β-elemene is an effective component of the traditional Chinese herbal medicine Wenyujin (Curcuma),which has significant anti-hepatoma effect.It can induce the apoptosis of hepatoma cells,inhibit the proliferation of hepatoma cells,interrupt the cell cycle of hepatoma cells,inhibit the invasion and metastasis of hepatoma cells,inhibit the angiogenesis and regulate immune function in hepatoma cells.β-Elemene Injection is approved by the state for two-category of anti-tumor drugs and the clinical treatments have been widely applied in hepatoma.This article reviews the mechanism and clinical progress of β-Elemene Injection in the treatment of primary liver cancer.%榄香烯作为传统中药温郁金(莪术)的有效成分之一,具有非常显著的抗肝癌作用.榄香烯可诱导肝癌细胞凋亡、阻断肝癌细胞周期及抑制肝癌细胞的增殖和侵袭转移,还可抑制肝癌细胞血管生成并调节免疫功能.榄香烯注射液是国家批准为二类抗肿瘤新药,临床已广泛应用于肝癌的治疗.本文就榄香烯注射液治疗原发性肝癌的作用机制及临床应用进展进行综述.
