The paper believes kidney is the gate of stomach refers to the stomach is the upper source of water metabolism and the kidney is the below source,which emphasizes on treating disease of water metabolism from overall situation,based on the summary of water metabolism in Inner Canon of the Huangdi,considering context of kidney is the gate of stomach and its discussion as well as its clinical practice.Because of the physiological function on water metabolism between kidney and stomach is closely related,then when one of them is in disorder,we can cure it from treat the other.And clarify the kidney is the gate of stomach from the view of treating kidney disease from treating stomach,which expanding the comprehensive understanding of it,and providing the theoretical basis of treating kidney disease on the aspect of treating stomach for clinic.%基于《黄帝内经》(以下简称《内经》)对水液代谢过程的概述,联系“肾者胃之关”上下文,结合诸多学者对于“肾者胃之关”的论述及其指导下的临证实践,认为“肾者胃之关”,此句原义是暗含以胃为水液代谢的“上源”,肾为之“F源”的整个津液代谢过程,强调的是从全局考量水液代谢疾病.肾为胃之门户,肾病及于胃,由肾治胃;胃为肾之上源,胃病及于肾,从胃治肾.并着重从胃治肾的角度进行“肾者胃之关”的阐释,以拓展对于“肾者胃之关”的全面认识,为从胃治肾的临证提供理论依据.
