Objective: To observe the influence of TongYangHuoXue Formula on patients with Chronic Congestive Heart Failure in TCM syndrome. Method: CHF patients were randomly divided into two groups, the control group and the treatment group. And the western convention therapy was applied to the patients in control group, while the combination of western convention therapy with TongYangHuoXue Formula was applied to the patients in treatment group. The TCM syndromes and single symptoms were analyzed after three weeks. Results; ( 1 ) Both groups had good effect, and the treatment group was prior to the control group with statistical significance(P <0. 05) ; (2) The total scores in two groups declined significantly after treatment( P < 0.01) , and the treatment group was prior to the control group( P < 0. 05 ) ; ( 3 ) The scores of single symptom in two groups declined significantly after treatment (P <0. 01) , and the treatment group was prior to the control group on palpitation, chest distress, shortness of breath, cold extremities, fatigue and spontaneous perspiration and so on( P < 0. 05 ) , there was significant difference on cold extremities, fatigue and edema(P < 0. 01). However, there is no difference on dry mouth, expectoration and dysphoria(P > 0. 05 ). Conclusion; TongYangHuoXue Formula can significantly improve CHF patients' TCM syndromes and single symptoms, and Integrated TCM-WM therapy is better than single western therapy.%目的:观察通阳活血方对慢性心衰患者中医证候的影响.方法:将符合标准的心衰患者随机分为治疗组、对照组,对照组给予西医基础治疗,治疗组在对照组治疗方法基础上加服通阳活血方,疗程3周,分别于治疗前后记录患者中医证候情况.结果:(1)2组中医证候总疗效比较,治疗组优于对照组,差别具有统计学意义(P<0·05);(2)治疗后2组中医证候总积分均明显下降(P<0.01),且治疗组优于对照组(P<0.05);(3)治疗后2组各单项症状积分较治疗前均明显改善(P<0.01),且治疗组在心悸、胸闷、气短、形寒肢冷、疲倦乏力、自汗等方面改善优于对照组(P<0.05),尤其在畏寒肢冷、疲倦乏力、面浮肢肿方面的改善具有显著性差异(P<0.01),但对口干、咳嗽、咯痰及烦躁不安的改善,2组无明显差异(P>0.05).结论:通阳活血方能改善心衰患者中医证候及单项症状,中西医结合治疗较单纯西医治疗效果更佳.
