玉林市特殊教育学校残障儿童及青少年口腔健康状况调查

目的:调查玉林市特殊教育学校残障儿童及青少年的口腔健康状况.方法:选择玉林市特殊教育学校1~18岁残障儿童及青少年279名,采用问卷调查和口腔检查的方法,了解其患龋及牙周状况,并根据年龄、性别和残疾类型分组,评定其口腔健康水平.结果:279名受试对象总体患龋率为69.89%,乳、恒牙龋均分别为4.14 ± 4.68、1.39 ± 2.94;龋损充填率仅为1.43%;牙龈出血、牙石检出率分别为18.28%、11.11%.随着年龄的增长,各年龄组患龋率无明显差异(P〉0.05),乳牙龋均和恒牙龋均、牙龈出血和牙石检出率逐渐增加(P＜0.05).男女间以及各残疾类型间的患龋水平及牙周健康状况无统计学差异(P〉0.05).结论:玉林市残障儿童及青少年患龋情况严重,牙周情况较差,口腔健康应得到重视.%AIM:To investigate the oral health status of disabled children attending Yulin Special School. METHODS:A cross-sectional study was conducted for 279 disabled individuals aged 1-18-years attending Yulin Special School in Guangxi. Caries and periodontal status were examined and compared between different ages,genders, and types of disability respectively. RESULTS: Overall, the caries prevalence of this population was 69.89%. The mean dmft and DMFT were 4.14 ± 4.68 and 1.39 ± 2.94,respectively. The caries filling ratio was only 1.43%. The gingival bleeding index and dental calculus indexes were 18.28% and 11.11%,respectively. The mean dmft,DMFT, gingival bleeding index and dental calculus index increased with age. There was no significant difference of caries prev-alence among the different age groups (P>0.05),no significant difference of periodontal indexes between genders or among different disability types was observed(P>0.05). CONCLUSION:The caries and periodontal status of disa-bled children were severe. More attention should be paid to the oral health of the individuals with special need.
