cqvip:A case of poisoning caused by accidental inhalation of dichloromethane and chloroform and thendrowning is presented. The distribution of dichloromethane and chloroform in three dead persons anda fishhawk was determined by the method of headspace gas chromatography. The results were compared with that of other literatures. It is conclouded that the three persons were poisoned and in astate of coma by accidental inhalation of dichloromethane and chloroform and the cause of death wasasphyxia by falling into water.
