Objective To understand the current condition of smoking among adolescent students and its influen-cing factors,and provide evidence for intervention measures of tobacco control among adolescents in future in Inner Mongo-lia.Methods A self-administered questionnaire survey with two-stage cluster sampling method was conducted among 3634 junior high school students in Inner Mongolia.Results The rate of current smoking was 5.1%,the rate of students who ev-er smoked was 17.5%.The second-hand smoking rates at home,in indoor and outdoor public were 55.1%,64.5% and 66.7%,respectively.The rates of current smoking students whose parent or good friend was smoker were 81.1% and 91.5%,respectively.86.4% of junior high school students saw smoking shot in television,video or film.82.2% of current smoker could buy cigarettes in school surrounding.76.5% of junior high school students definitely believed the passive smok-ing was harm.67.9% of junior high school students saw smoking control information in the media.Conclusion The smok-ing rate is relatively low among adolescent students in Inner Mongolia.They were influenced by the smoking behavior of their parents,good friends and teachers and the exposure of second-hand smoking in public,tobacco advertisement seen every-where,tobacco products gained easily and so on.Smoking control measures still need to be enhanced to solve the causes of students smoking.%目的：了解内蒙古地区在校青少年吸烟现状及影响因素，为制定有针对性的干预措施提供依据。方法采用两阶段抽样方法，抽取内蒙古自治区在校初中学生3634名进行匿名自填问卷调查。结果内蒙古地区在校初中学生现在吸烟率为5．1％，尝试吸烟率为17．5％；在家、室内、外公共场合暴露于二手烟的比例分别为55．1％、64．5％和66．7％；现在吸烟学生中父母至少有一方是吸烟者及好朋友是吸烟者分别为81．1％、91．5％；86．4％的初中学生在电视、视频或者电影上看到吸烟镜头，82．2％的吸卷烟学生在学校周边可以购买到卷烟，76．5％的初中学生肯定地认为别人吸烟产生的烟雾会危害自己；67．9％的初中学生在媒体上看到了控烟信息。结论内蒙古地区青少年吸烟率相对较低，但存在受父母、好朋友、老师等周围人群吸烟的影响及公共场所二手烟暴露严重、烟草广告促销随处可见、烟草制品获得容易等社会环境因素的影响，应进一步加强学校控烟工作。
