Objective To optimize the extraction process of Tongqiaobiyuan pill. Methods The suitable method was determined by uniform design with the content of geniposide and the rate of dried extract as the indexes. Results The best technological parameters were as follows: at ethanol concentration of 53%, concentration proportion of 1 : 11, extraction time of 61 minutes, extraction times of 3.
