In the teaching of this course, attention should be paid to establish the diagnosis thinking of the integrated traditional and western medicine; students should be made to realize the uniqueness of this course; the combination of differentiation of disease with syndrome differentiation and treatment should be emphasized; the excellent teachers for the integrated traditional and western medicine should be equipped; teaching methodologies should be diversified and linked to clinical practice closely.
