3,3'-dimethyl-9,9'-bianthracene was synthesized from 2-methyl-anthraquinone through two steps reactions,and its structure was determined by means of ' H NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The synthetic pathway has more advantages such as few reaction steps,high yield,easy purification and so on. Moreover,the effects on the reaction yield by different reduc-tants and mole ratios were also discussed and its optical properties were characterized by the absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. The results indicated that the maximum emission peak of the compound is at 447 nm,which is the typical blue fluorescence and its fluorescence quantum yield is 1. 18 times than that of 9 ,9 -bianthracene.%以2-甲基蒽醌为原料,经两步反应合成了3,3'-二甲基-9,9'-联蒽,并通过核磁共振、元素分析等对其结构进行了确证和表征.该方法工艺简单,反应步骤少,收率高,绿色环保.同时探讨了不同还原剂及配料比对反应收率的影响,并利用紫外-可见光吸收光谱和发射光谱对其光学性能进行研究.研究表明,该化合物在近紫外光激发下发出明亮的蓝光,发射中心波长位于447nm处,荧光量子效率为是9,9'-联蒽的1.18倍,是一种良好的蓝光材料.
