During recent decades,the term of‘mechanism’ has become a buzzword in organizational management study.However,the understanding and using of this concept has remained vague and even contradictory.Based on analyzing 55 papers published in 9 organizational management journals from 2001 to 2015,and referring to related studies from sociology and philosophy of science,wemake a relatively clarified,exact,and richer definition for "mechanism" and suggest four feasible ap-proaches to the study of mechanism in organizational management domain.At last,we discuss themost important challenges we will face and available directions we should explore in the future.%“机制”一词已经成为组织管理研究中的重要词汇之一,但对“机制”的理解与应用却存在较大的模糊性甚至冲突.通过基于组织管理领域9种国际期刊15年间发表的55篇关于机制研究文献的分析,借鉴社会学和科学哲学的研究成果,界定了一个相对更加清晰、明确、丰富的关于机制的概念,并提出了进行机制研究的4种可行的路径.最后,对未来可能面临的研究挑战与方向进行了讨论和展望.
