Objective To observe the application value of axial diffusivity (DA ) and radial dif'f'usivity (DR) of DTI in leukoaraiosis (LA). Methods A total of 28 patients of LA underwent conventional MR scan and DTI . Eigenvector values were measured in LA lesions and the normal appearing white mater (NAWM ) around the LA lesions , then the DA and DR were calculated . Results Slightly higher signals intensity in LA lesions on eigenvector map were seen compared with NAWM . DA and DR in LA lesions were higher than those in NAWM ( P< 0. 05 ) . DR of anterior horn of lateral ventricle was higher than that of' posterior horn ( P<O. 05 ) , while in LA lesions of left centrum ovale was higher than that of right centrum ovale ( P< 0. 05) . Conclusion DA and DR in DTI scan can initially reveal the micro -structure changes of LA . DA and DR are supposed to be potential non-invasive tools to detection of pathological changes of LA .%目的 探讨DTI轴向弥散(DA)和放射弥散(DR)在脑白质疏松症(LA)中的应用价值.方法 对28例LA患者行DTI,测量LA病灶以及病灶周围看似正常白质区(NAWM)弥散特征向量值,计算DA值和DR值.结果 LA病灶在特征向量图上表现为较NAWM稍高信号,LA病灶DA值和DR值高于灶周NAWM,差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05);侧脑室前角LA病灶DR值高于后角,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);左侧白质半卵圆中心LA病灶DR值高于右侧,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论 DTI的DA和DR可以初步揭示LA的微结构变化,是无创性检测LA病理改变的潜在工具.
