为了适应中国人口老龄化现状,打破以单器官为中心的传统诊疗模式,在中国推广现代老年医学理念,北京协和医院自2006年起与美国约翰·霍普金斯医学院开展老年医学合作项目.文章强调了在中国发展现代老年医学的重要性,并介绍了北京协和医院老年科的工作成果.以普通老年人为服务对象；老年综合评估成为入院病人的常规项目；建立了一支老年医学多学科整合团队,参与病房查房和门诊；开展了骨科的术前会诊和多重用药的管理等.最后,分析了中国老年医学发展所面临的问题.%China,while facing the unprecedented need for quality geriatrics care for its large and rapidly growing elderly population,continues to use individual organ system-based traditional medical model in geriatrics care. Funded by the China Medical Board, Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHU) have developed an international collaborative project since 2006 aimed at establishing a leadership geriatrics program at PUMCH that will promote modem geriatrics in China. This article emphasizes the importance of modem geriatrics development in China,and briefly summarizes the achievements and challenges in this unique project. The division of Geriatrics of PUMCH serves for the general elderly. Comprehensive geriatric assessment has become a routine examination project when an older patient was admitted. An integrated multi-disciplinary geriatric team participated in ward rounds and Outpatient. Preoperative consultation in Orthopedics and poly pharmacy management carried out successfully.
