Objectives To acquaint the epidemic trend and characteristics of syphilis in Wuhan city and provide scien-tific basis for syphilis prevention and control in the future.Methods Analyzed epidemic situation data of syphilis among cat-egory B infectious disease from 2009 to 2013 in Wuhan city.Results 14 275 cases of syphilis have been reported from 2009 to 2013 in Wuhan city,annual incidence is 31.56/100 000,the highest incidence is in 2010 (36.66/100 000),incidence of syphilis have entered in a slow downtrend and fall down on average by 6.1 9% year by year.Latent syphilis is in majority by staging which account for 39.49%,and shows an increasing trend;Sex ratio is 1.01:1,the incidence between men and women is not obvious different;20 to 49 years old are in majority by age (66.88%);unemployed and unknown was in majority by professional.Conclusions Epidemic situation of syphilis in Wuhan has been slow-down the rise since 2010 and enters the stage of slow decline.But the mount of latent syphilis is rising year by year. The direction of syphilis prevention and control need to be adjusted in the future,normalize the diagnosis and treat-ment service of syphilis in medical establishments,strengthen early detection,early diagnosis and early treatment of syphilis patients.%目的：了解武汉市梅毒疫情的流行趋势和特点,为今后制定梅毒防治措施提供科学依据。方法对武汉市2009-2013年乙类法定传染病中的梅毒疫情资料进行分析。结果武汉市2009-2013年共报告梅毒14275例,年均发病率为31.56/10万,发病率最高为2010年(36.66/10万),发病率呈缓慢下降趋势,年均下降6.19%。梅毒分期以隐性梅毒为主,占39.49%,且有逐年上升趋势；性别比为1.01：1,男女之间发病率差异无统计学意义；年龄段主要集中在20~49岁(66.88%)；职业以家务及待业者和不详为主。结论武汉市梅毒疫情自2010年起已遏制了上升势头,处于缓慢下降阶段,但隐性梅毒报告数在逐年上升。今后需调整梅毒防治方向,规范医疗机构梅毒诊疗服务,加强梅毒患者的早期检查、早期诊断和早期治疗。
