Pentraxin 3 (PTX3) is the ifrst identiifed long chain ifve polymer structure protein, which plays an important role in innate humoral immunity. This paper reviewed the function of PTX3 in three aspects, including inhibiting pathogen infection, resisting arteriosclerosis and participating in acute and chronic diseases of the central nervous system, so as to provide ideas for further research.%正五聚素蛋白3（pentraxin 3，PTX3）是第一个被识别的长链五聚素，在先天性体液免疫中发挥重要作用。本文分别从抑制病原体感染、抗动脉粥样硬化和参与中枢神经系统急慢性疾病等3个方面对PTX3的功能进行了综述，以期对其进一步的研究提供思路。
