Objective To investigate the ultrasonographic manifestations of the renal oncocytoma (RO) and compare them with pathology diagnosis to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis.Methods Retrospective analysis was made to the ultrasonographic manifestations of five patients with surgery and pathology confirmed RO,who hospitalized due to renal space-occupying lesions in the Urology Department.Pathological diagnosis and ultrasonographic manifestations were compared.Results The ultrasonographic manifestations of the five patients were as follows:the lesions on unilateral side,round or oval shape,well circumscribed and solid slightly strong echo were commonly seen.Lesion sizes ranged from 1.9 cm×2.5 cm×2.0 cm to 12.0 cm×7.1 cm×9.3 cm,and regular blood flow can be seen around.However,one lesion was cystic and solid,with separation in the capsule.The gross specimen of postoperative pathological were gray-brown on cut surface,one surface of the lesion had fish-flesh-like appearance with abundant blood supply and one appeared like ossific with surface irregularity.The tumor cells contain abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm,arranging island in the interstitial of edema (× 400).The results of the immunohistochemistry was Vimentin (-),CK8(+),CK7(-),CK18(+).Conclusions RO has the ultrasonographic manifestations of the benign lesions,and is consistent with the pathological gross specimen.Therefore,according to the echo and the blood flow of the lesions,ultrasound which is non-invasive and easy may get an earlier diagnosis.%目的 探讨肾嗜酸细胞瘤的超声表现,通过与病理对照分析提高对本病的超声诊断水平.方法 回顾性分析泌尿外科因肾脏占位性病变入院5例患者的超声表现,并与病理结果对照分析.结果 5例超声表现均为单侧发,呈类圆形或椭圆形,边界清晰,病灶以实性稍强回声为主,病灶范围约1.9cm×2.5 cm×2.0 cm～12.0 cm×7.1 cm×9.3 cm,周边可见较规则的点状线状规则血流信号,其中1例囊实性病灶,囊内可见分隔.术后病理大体标本切面灰褐色或棕黄色,其中1例表面为鱼肉样,1例表面似剥离面粗糙并有骨化,肿瘤细胞含有丰富的嗜酸性胞浆,在水肿的间质中排列成岛(HE ×400),免疫组化Vimentin(-)、CK8(+)、CK7(-)、CK18(+).结论 肾嗜酸细胞瘤具有良性病变超声表现,与病理大体标本表现相符；超声检查能根据病灶回声及血流特点较早做出诊断.
