RETAINED foreign bodies in the urinary tract after surgical or diagnostic procedure,named iatrogenic foreign bodies,are rarely reported,though the estimated incidence was as high as1/1500 cases.1Prompt and proper retrieval is required due to potential complications.We report a case of iatrogenic foreign body into the bladder.CASE DESCRIPTION A 60-year-old man had recurrent hematuria for 9months and vesicular mass for 1 month.He received a suprapubic transvesical prostatectomy 9 months ago,but gross hematuria had appeared since then.
