The electronic densities of states of YBa_(2)Cu_(2)ScO_(7) high Tc materials,including two cases of Sc substituting Cul and Cu_(2) sites,have been calculated,and the results are compared with that3of YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7) and Y_(0.5)Sc_(0.5)Ba_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7) systems.Sc-Cu_(2) replacement will largely influence the electronic structure of Cu-O layers.However,Sc-Cul replacement is more possible.
