The competence of young teachers is crucial to the quality of talent training in universities.Taking the young teachers of local universities in western area as the research object, the present situation of 589 young teachers'competence was investigated and analyzed.The results show that the overall level of young teachers'competence in local universities needs to be improved, and there are significant differences in gender, age, teaching age, professional titles, academic qualifications and professional categories.It is necessary to construct the development mechanism of the young teachers'competence in the local colleges and universities in the west, to reform the incentive methods, to let the young teachers devote themselves wholeheartedly to teaching and scientific research, and to create a good professional development platform, so that the young teachers can grow up as soon as possible.%青年教师的胜任力水平对高校的人才培养质量至关重要.以西部地方本科高校青年教师为调查对象,对589名青年教师胜任力现状进行了调查分析.结果表明:西部地方本科高校青年教师胜任力整体水平有待改善;青年教师胜任力在性别、年龄、教龄、职称、学历和专业等人口统计变量上存在显著差异.需要从构建西部地方本科高校青年教师胜任力的发展机制,改革激励方式让青年教师全身心投入教学、科研之中,以及打造良好的专业发展平台让青年教师尽快成长等方面提升青年教师的胜任力.
